UG Mining Engineer

The RoleThis position will be reporting to the Senior Mine Engineer. Accountable for maintaining mine plans and schedules to ensure production goals are achieved or exceeded in a cost-effective manner.
Essential DutiesPromote innovation and continuous improvement in safety by reviewing existing engineering designs and implementing new designs.Develop plans and designs for regulatory compliance and compliance to Company policies, procedures and standards.Promote and adhere to Company safety policies.Become proficient with monthly cadence of mine scheduling tasks.Schedule and review mine planning and mine design to increase value to operation.Optimise production and minimise dilution through mine designs and production scheduling.Complete stope reconciliations to verify quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
The CandidateA Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering or equivalent engineering degree.Valid Australian visa with full working rights3-6 years of UG mine engineering experience.Strong Deswik Skills – (CAD, IS and Scheduler)Have strong communication and people skills.
