Your opportunity You will play a pivotal role in inspiring a love for history, geography and social sciences in our students. Your expertise will contribute to developing their critical thinking, communication skills and cultural awareness. Design and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons. Foster a positive and inclusive teaching and learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. Participate in extracurricular activities, school events and professional development opportunities. Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning outcomes within a professional and collaborative environment by applying your professional knowledge, practice and engagement to implement our innovative and contemporary curriculum programmes. We are seeking an experienced candidate who is able to commence in January 2026. You will be required to engage students to nurture self‑esteem, encourage self‑reflection and develop compassion, respect and tolerance as a foundation on which they will build their lives in an environment that values education. You will have: Queensland College of Teachers registration. Experience in the provision of quality relevant curriculum programmes. Highly developed classroom teaching skills. Demonstrated ability to implement information and communication technology into teaching and learning. Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees. An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
