Metal Roofing & Building Supplies – Smeaton Grange NSW This is an Evening SHIFT position, standard hours will be from 6pm to 3.00am Sunday to Thursday. Overtime will be available outside of these hours. We are currently looking for a candidate to work on an evening shift to pack and load trucks so that they are ready to leave on time the next morning. The position requires someone with good confidence on a forklift that is able to be detail oriented and load trucks in a safe manner. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to work independently and follow instructions as well as be held accountable. Overtime is a part of this position and all overtime is paid at applicable rates. Ensure sufficient packing materials are used where required. Pack product into correct packaging and ensure it is safe for transport. Apply correct labels to product as required. Monitor product quality and alert the General Manager if any problems occur. Carry out any other duties as instructed by the General Manager. Keep work areas clear of any rubbish. Ensure all Company OH&S and Human Resources Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times. Wear the correct and appropriate safety equipment whilst carrying out duties at all times in the boundaries as stipulated by boundary signs through the factory. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must have a current forklift license with experience in safely loading and restraining trucks. Looking for someone who wants a long term position, not a stepping stone. Must have a working mode of transport to get to work on time daily. Must have a good attitude towards work and be available to work a reasonable amount of overtime including Saturdays when required. Truck licence or experience would be a great bonus as you will need to move trucks around the yard. #J-18808-Ljbffr
