About Your Opportunity Reporting to the Principal Environment, you will lead a small team of environmental professionals, providing expert scientific and technical advice across Seqwater’s built and natural asset base, including capital, maintenance and operational projects. With a focus on compliance, performance and improvement, you will manage complex environmental matters, improve governance, and deliver high‑quality, solution‑oriented advice. Key Responsibilities Drive continuous improvement and enhancement of strategic environmental objectives, including policy formulation and implementation. Coordinate regional compliance activities, complex monitoring programs, and provide expert advice on legislation, policies, and guidelines. Deliver high‑quality scientific and technical advice on a broad range of environmental matters across multiple sub‑disciplines. Oversee multidisciplinary environmental projects, monitor resource allocation and budgetary management to meet deliverables. Represent Seqwater’s interests with regulators and senior representatives from local, State and Federal departments. Lead investigations for environmental incidents and emergencies, providing expert advice and solution‑based outcomes, including after‑hours participation. About You Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related field and extensive relevant experience. Experience in site and project‑based environmental audits. Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures and experience advising on their application in operational and project activities. Extensive knowledge in project‑related environmental management, including development of environmental management plans and addressing related issues. Ability to lead, mentor and develop others. Salary range: $132,746.14 – $145,422.62 per annum (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation.
