About The Role Thiess Mount Arthur South have an exciting opportunity for you to expand your skills and grow within a high performing team as a Maintenance Leading Hand. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of a team that is committed to developing our people. Your responsibilities will include: Strong safety focus and high attention to detail, ensuring maintenance activities comply with site safety processes. Coach and mentor crew members to execute maintenance tasks safely and efficiently. Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems. Proven ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating high levels of initiative. Ensure mobile plant equipment defects are completed within an acceptable timeframe. Provide technical information to staff and operations personnel. Source and requisition parts and / or equipment requirements through the appropriate manuals or publications using the correct ordering procedure. Verify the implementation of solutions and/or control further non‑conforming machinery until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
