Role Description/Criteria Applications are invited for this part‑time, ongoing position as a Classroom Teacher, commences on 27 January 2026. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the safety and wellbeing of children, as evidenced by completion of a Child Safety Code of Conduct. They will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and embrace a collegial, team‑based approach to teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, enthusiastic, and able to deliver the curriculum to a range of educational abilities, while supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment. Key Selection Criteria Commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education. Ability to create and maintain a child‑safe environment in which students feel safe. Ability to build positive relationships with all students and engage families and the community. Strategies to cater effectively for a range of students’ learning needs and adjust tasks to differentiate learning. Strong vision for effective literacy and numeracy teaching, using MACS' 2030 Vision for Instruction. Purposeful use of digital technologies that enhance student engagement and learning. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. Special Requirements Complete the attached St Paul's Application for Employment document. VIT registration is essential. Accreditation to teach Religious Education, or a commitment to undertake it. Provide three professional referees, including past two principals, with contact details and mobile phone numbers.
