Early Career Placement - Technical Animation Join Princess Bento Studio as an Early Career Placement – Technical Animation. The role is full‑time based in our Melbourne studio, providing training in 2D technical animation (compositing and retake animation). The successful applicant will learn fundamentals, contribute to the series, and receive further training in Harmony for compositing. What you'll do Work alongside the compositing and retake team to learn fundamentals of technical animation within 2D animation. Contribute technical animation to our series with guidance from senior staff and department leads. Receive additional training in Harmony for compositing. Who you are An early‑career 2D compositor or animator seeking to extend skills in technical animation on a 2D series. Needing a basic understanding of the 2D animation pipeline and relevant skills in the compositing or retake animation department. Strong communication skills, work ethic, and workplace professionalism. A true passion for adult animation. Eligibility Must be a Victorian resident. Have lived in Victoria for at least 6 months immediately preceding the start of the placement. Have foundational knowledge and basic industry experience necessary to fulfil the placement. Not already be engaged (as an employee, contractor or otherwise) by Princess Bento or a related company. Timeline Applications close at 5:00 PM on 9 January 2026. Interview invitations will be sent in the week commencing 2 February 2026. Successful candidate informed by 20 February 2026. Placement commences 10 March 2026 and lasts 5 months. #J-18808-Ljbffr
