Island Berries Tasmania Pty Ltd – Cambridge TAS Island Berries Tasmania Pty Ltd. is a producer of high quality food products, made using premium local Tasmanian ingredients. We produce a diverse range products, cooking in small batches using Steam-Jacketed Kettles, and packaging goods using a combination of pneumatic and electronic machinery. We are looking for an experienced maintenance person to join our growing team and manage the maintenance function of our business. POSITION DESCRIPTION The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing and performing all maintenance tasks across the Island Berries Tasmania site. This includes implementing and upkeep of the Maintenance Program, performing preventative maintenance, organising maintenance with external contractors in accordance with the company Maintenance Schedules, and ensuring compliance with relevant Food Safety Standards. The role is responsible for completing and maintaining all record keeping associated with the position. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE The position requires proven experience in general machine maintenance and fitting and turning. Experience with pneumatics is desirable. Experience with boilers and steam lines is desirable. Computer literacy, use of Microsoft Office and filing skills are essential. Commitment to undergo company paid training in food safety and customer compliance programs is a requirement of the position.
