As our "Decorative Masters", they expertly finish and garnish each creation to the highest standards—ensuring every product not only looks exceptional but meets the quality our customers know and expect. We are hiring for a variety of roles with Full-time, Part-time and Casual roles open for discussion. Our shifts run anywhere between 6:00am and 3:00pm, across seven days but we are open to discussing your availability and finding a schedule that suits you. We also have a variety of locations around Sydney so bear that in mind. What do we need from you? Bring 2-3 years of Pastry Chef experience to the table. Pride in your work and completing perfect finished products. Having had experience in a Production Kitchen is a plus. Be a team player with a positive attitude. Show dedication to customer experience and product quality. Commit to maintaining food safety standards. Handle the fast-paced, high-volume nature of our business while upholding the highest quality and service standards. A Bit About Us Black Star Pastry started as a boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and has since grown into an established and loved brand. Our claim to fame is the Strawberry Watermelon Cake, a dessert that has taken social media by storm and earned recognition from the New York Times as "the world's most Instagrammed cake".
