About The Company With more than 17 years of experience, our client is a leader in building commercial projects from concept through to completion. Our client is established in the Inner Sydney Suburbs and delivers projects across Sydney valued up and in excess of $20m. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their team and assist the tight‑knit finance team of 4 within their Sydney office. About The Role Within this fast‑paced role, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and be a part of a tight‑knit team within the business’ Head Office in Inner‑South Sydney. Responsibilities include: Financial Reporting & Planning Report and maintenance of: Cashflow, WIP spreadsheet, Business Summary, P&L, Balance sheet, End of project review, business performance - budget vs actual etc. for all projects Business forecasting and budgeting Timesheet uploading for subcontractors Wages journal management BAS Preparation Liaise with external accounts, solicitors, auditors and insurance providers Risk Management Analysis of current processes and suggest efficiency improvements About You Minimum of 3‑5 years experience in a similar role Construction industry experience required Tertiary qualifications in Finance or related discipline preferred Good communication skills - Both written and verbal Strong attention to detail and data entry skills Jobpac experience is preferred, with experience in implementing an ERP highly desirable Remuneration & Benefits The successful candidate will receive a remuneration package of $80,000 - $100,000 + superannuation.
