Job Summary Help at Hand Support Services is looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to provide person‑centred care to individuals with disabilities. Your daily routine will vary based on each client’s needs, from driving them to a beach walk or a movie to accompanying them to medical appointments and spending time at their home with a cup of tea. Key Responsibilities Provide person‑centred care and support tailored to each client’s individual needs. Assist with daily activities, transport, appointments, and companionship. Qualifications & Requirements Own a fully insured and reliable vehicle. Possess a current police check (within 6 months). Cert III in Disability or equivalent experience. Work with Children Check. Current First Aid/CPR certificates. Full and clean Australian driver’s licence. Right to live and work in Australia. Be punctual, reliable and flexible. Good written and verbal communication skills. Empathetic, proactive, with genuine interest in the field. Ability to self‑supervise and remain calm in crisis situations. Other Details Job Type: Casual Salary: $32.56 – $41 per hour Schedule: Rotating roster: Afternoon, Day, Evening, Night shift, Monday‑Friday, Public holidays, Weekend availability.
