Role Overview We are proud to introduce an exciting opportunity within Global Retail Brands, Australia's premier specialty homewares retailer, boasting a vast network of over 300 stores nationwide. We are actively seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator to join our esteemed People & Culture team. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager, contributing as a key member of the People & Culture team. Your support will extend across various functions, including HR, Payroll and the Retail Operations team. As the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure an outstanding employee experience. This encompasses activities ranging from candidate screening and onboarding to the creation of employment contracts, along with providing crucial assistance during induction processes. Key Responsibilities Leading the onboarding process to ensure all administrative requisites are completed and comply with legal requirements Pre‑employment checks such as Health Declarations and Visas, to ensure new employees meet fitness and immigration requirements Assist in the recruitment process and coordinate interviews of the recruitment of the retail management and casual roles Issue employment contracts, policies, and all other relevant documents Address new employee queries regarding contracts and onboarding processes and provide system support to employees throughout the onboarding process About You 1‑2 years’ experience in a similar role, or a recent HR graduate/someone currently studying HR and wanting to gain experience in the industry Good working knowledge of TA and/or HR practices, award interpretation, and employment conditions Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Excellent attention to detail, time management and organization skills Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) An ability to handle sensitive and confidential information This full‑time position offers the opportunity for a passionate Talent Acquisition Manager to join to join a fast‑paced, highly dynamic P&C Team, and to help support and contribute towards the growth of Global Retail Brands.
