Primary objective Provide day to day management of Information and Communication Technology contracts and undertake ICT procurement-based activities. Context statement The ICT Services ICT Contract Management unit manages the delivery of a broad range of information and communications technology (ICT) services to all Northern Territory Government agencies through a complex set of arrangements both outsourced and internal to government. Activities involve a significant amount of agency, industry, contractor and stakeholder engagement. Key duties and responsibilities Monitoring, managing and reporting on Contractor performance and compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards for a suite of information communication technology agreements. Undertake, take part in and provide effective support for ICT Services procurements and contract management activities. Address any issues or concerns raised by the key stakeholders in relation to the agreements. Manage and negotiate contract variations and the resolution of contractual issues and disputes. Provide contractual advice to NTG stakeholders. Selection criteria: Essential Sound contract management and/or procurement skills including an analytical ability to achieve practical outcomes. Sound interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral including ability to have a customer focus and engage with staff at all levels, businesses and industry representatives. Well organised, able to multi-task and proven record of achieving results in agreed timeframes. Demonstrated capacity to work in professional teams in an organisation that values participation as a key to achieving business objectives. Strong understanding and appreciation of the importance of customer-focused service delivery. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, innovative and respectful. Desirable Knowledge of NT Government Information Communication Technology (ICT) outsourced environment and NT Government Records Management Policy and Procedures. Certificate IV in Government Procurement Diploma of Government Contract Management or relevant Degree in Business Law or Procurement or similar.
