The Opportunity A unique opportunity is now available for a QA Supervisor to join the team at ARYZTA’s brand‑new bakery, set to launch in Nambeelup, WA (just 12 km from Mandurah and 60 km south of Perth). Reporting to the site QA Manager, this exciting hands‑on role will see you developing, planning, and executing in‑plant quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with ARYZTA’s quality specifications, standards, legislative requirements, and customer expectations. As the QA Supervisor you will play an impactful part in setting QA standards, fostering a strong food safety culture directly contributing to the successful start‑up and ongoing success of the new site. Key responsibilities Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring quality assurance programs from raw materials through to finished goods. Conduct daily audits of quality systems, control checks and processes, and report findings to relevant stakeholders. Maintain accurate and accessible QA documentation, manuals, and records. Conduct product shelf‑life and environmental testing; analyse and distribute lab results in a timely manner. Support labelling compliance, allergen and nutrition verification programs. Investigate internal non‑conformances and customer complaints; raise supplier non‑conformances and drive timely resolution. Provide training and support to team members on quality standards, food safety, and best practices. Uphold compliance with ARYZTA Quality Policy, Food Safety, and Product Quality Procedures. About You We are looking for a self‑starter with strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality and food safety. You will bring a technical and customer focused mindset, a commitment to accountability, and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels. The successful candidate will bring A degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and Quality Management Systems. Previous experience in a similar Quality Assurance role within the food industry is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA‑related databases. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams. Strong organisation, planning and problem‑solving capabilities. A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
