Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician

Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician (Apprenticeship) Are you interested in a rewarding new career in pharmacy? The Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician (PTPT) programme allows you to earn whilst training to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. Supported by the pharmacy team our PTPTs gain practical experience and develop knowledge, skills and behaviours in dispensary, pharmacy stores and on the hospital wards. This is whilst undertaking a distance learning apprenticeship delivered by an external education provider. Once completed, PTPTs are eligible to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council. The post is a 2-year fixed term, full-time contract of 37.5 hours a week with a weekend rota (approximately 1 in 8 weekends) and a bank holiday commitment. Please note this position is due to start in February 2026. It is hoped that interviews will take place during December. Overseas qualifications are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Applicants must have obtained a 'Statement of Compatibility' of their overseas qualifications from the UK National Information Centre for the recognition and evaluation of international qualifications and skill UK ENIC (formally NARIC) This will also need to be seen at interview.
