Longbeach RSL is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team in Chelsea, Victoria. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our busy kitchen, working alongside our experienced chefs to ensure our customers receive consistently high-quality meals. What you’ll be doing Assisting with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, including regular cleaning and sanitation of surfaces, equipment, and utensils Restocking and replenishing ingredients and supplies as needed Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times Providing support to the chefs during busy periods, as required What we’re looking for Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role within the hospitality industry Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a positive and flexible attitude Good physical stamina and the ability to be on your feet for extended periods Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and basic food preparation techniques What we offer Competitive casual pay rates Flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs Opportunities for career development and training A friendly and inclusive team culture About us The Longbeach RSL is a well-established hospitality venue in the heart of Chelsea, Victoria.
