OHSC Coordinator

Learning Avenues Early Education, Care and Kindergarten is seeking a dedicated and experienced OHSC Coordinator to join our passionate team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of our Outside School Hours Care (OHSC) program, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children in our care. What you'll be doing Oversee the daily operations of the OHSC program, including staff scheduling, program planning, and activity coordination. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to childcare services. Foster a warm and inclusive environment that supports the social, emotional, and educational development of the children. Liaise with parents, school officials, and other stakeholders to maintain open communication and address any concerns. Participate in the continuous improvement of the OHSC program, incorporating feedback and implementing innovative ideas. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting as required by the organisation and regulatory bodies. What we're looking for Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar OHSC role and ability to drive the mini bus. Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Childcare, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Demonstrated leadership and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on providing high‑quality care and educational experiences. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to multitask and prioritise effectively. Thorough knowledge of the National Quality Framework, regulations, and best practices in the childcare sector.
