What you'll do: As a Senior Business Analyst – Superannuation and Wealth, you will immerse yourself in complex projects that require a deep understanding of both business processes and technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with stakeholders across various departments to elicit requirements, document current state processes, identify best practices for future state design, and perform gap analyses that inform impactful change. You will play an integral role in facilitating solution design sessions, preparing robust business cases for new initiatives, managing requirements through their lifecycle, and supporting testing teams during implementation. By leveraging your expertise in methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Waterfall as appropriate for each project, you will help ensure that every solution not only meets but exceeds expectations. Your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly—both verbally and in writing—will enable you to build trust with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement efforts by sharing learnings with your peers, participating in peer reviews, mentoring junior analysts when required, and identifying opportunities to maximise value from existing solutions. Adhere to established frameworks and templates within the Change Office to ensure consistency and quality across all business analysis activities. Plan and determine the most effective approaches for yourself and other analysts on each project, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Elicit, analyse, and document detailed business requirements using a variety of appropriate techniques tailored to each initiative. Prepare comprehensive business cases for new solutions or designs that support strategic objectives and deliver value to stakeholders. Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis to establish strong internal and external relationships that facilitate successful project delivery. Maintain rigorous requirements traceability throughout the entire project lifecycle to ensure alignment between business needs and delivered solutions. Perform solution analysis to confirm that proposed solutions meet documented requirements and add measurable value. Develop functional and technical specifications as needed to guide development teams in implementing effective solutions. Collaborate closely with data, test, and systems analysts to manage requirements through all phases of the project lifecycle. Support testing activities by assisting with triage, impact analysis, and providing insights that enhance overall solution quality. What you bring: To excel as a Senior Business Analyst – Superannuation and Wealth in this organisation’s Change and Transformation Office, you will bring extensive experience working on complex projects within financial services—ideally with exposure to superannuation or similar domains.
