Sales Support Officer

We’re looking for a highly organised Sales Support professional to join our Intermodal Containers team in our Melbourne office on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This role offers the option to start with part-time hours before transitioning to full-time from the end of February 2026. In this role, you’ll be the central link between the General Manager, Sales Team, customers, and suppliers – ensuring everything runs seamlessly through efficient coordination, reliable administration, and exceptional customer service. Who We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have well-developed support skills and a proven track record of being highly organised and efficient. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive, upbeat attitude who thrives in a team environment. What You’ll Be Doing Managing high‑value customer accounts and complex sales enquiries. Preparing and reviewing quotes, contracts, and project documentation. Coordinating with logistics, operations, and finance to ensure timely and seamless delivery. Monitoring sales performance data and identifying areas for growth and improvement. Supporting the General Manager with forecasting, planning, and key account management. Maintaining accuracy across CRM and inventory systems. What You’ll Bring 3–5+ years’ experience in a Sales Support or Customer Service role. Proven experience in team coordination and cross‑functional collaboration. High‑level proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms. Strong attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to juggle priorities, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure. Plan and execute on projects to ensure they are delivered on time. A positive, can‑do attitude and a passion for delivering excellent service. What Success in This Role Looks Like Accurate, timely documentation and reporting. Organised individual that is able to manage tasks and deliver to a timeline.
