Business Development Manager – Batteries & EV Chargers (SME + C&I) Are you a hunter who thrives on building your own pipeline, owning your territory, and closing high-value deals in the SME and Commercial & Industrial market? We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to sell our battery storage and EV charging solutions direct to businesses across Victoria. This role is built for someone who creates their own opportunities , not someone who waits for leads. If you excel in cold calling, door knocking, territory development, and speaking directly with business owners — this is the perfect opportunity for you. Full-Time | Melbourne High-Performance Sales Role About the Role You will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition through high-volume outreach , with a strong focus on: Door-to-door visits across industrial estates and commercial hubs. Territory mapping and physical prospecting Discovery meetings and onsite walk-throughs Your primary customers will include small businesses, warehouses, manufacturers, logistics sites and C&I facilities in large industrial areas. You will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, supported by our sales team & estimating teams. What You Bring 2–5+ years of direct B2B field sales experience (Essential). A proven track record of self-generated sales , not reliant on inbound leads. Confidence initiating conversations with unengaged SMEs. Ability to manage a territory with discipline and prioritise high-value zones. Strong conversion skills across all parts of the sales funnel. Experience in energy, electrical, sustainability, construction, telco or similar (advantage but not required). Hunger, resilience, and a competitive sales mindset.
