The Role We are seeking an experienced Property Conveyancer to join our property team on a full‑time basis, based in either Sydney or Canberra. Key Responsibilities Independently (under partner supervision) manage residential and commercial conveyancing matters for both purchasers and vendors, in the ACT and NSW. Prepare and update sale contracts across a range of property types, including off‑the‑plan developments and commercial properties (off‑the‑plan, post‑registration and established). Coordinate with mortgagees, caveators and other interest holders to complete settlements. Review, negotiate and (under lawyer supervision) advise purchasers on a variety of purchase contracts. Use and understand PEXA, relevant stamp duty platforms and Land Titles Office processes, including those specific to the ACT and NSW. Prepare and lodge estate / probate documents and liaise with ACT and NSW authorities, including via PEXA. Manage ACT and NSW leases and other ACT and NSW registrable dealings (experience in this area is an advantage). Coordinate electronic verification of identity and client authority documentation. Work directly with our leading property and banking teams, enjoying a diverse workload and a high level of autonomy aligned with your experience. Our clients include developers, financial institutions, property investors, fund managers and privately owned investment groups. Who Would Be Suited To succeed in this role, you will have experience as a conveyancer or property paralegal within a commercial or residential property practice.
