Leederville Dental is seeking a skilled & motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing practice in Mount Hawthorn, WA. As a full-time Dental Assistant, with some Reception duties, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. About the role Leederville Dental is a well-established, patient-focused dental practice in Mount Hawthorn. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional dental care in a warm, welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities Chair-side assistance during dental procedures Sterilization and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment Preparation of treatment rooms Maintaining infection control standards Ordering Stock Accompanying Dentist to Hospital to assist with treatment under General Anesthesia Reception Duties Managing patient appointments and scheduling Greeting patients and providing excellent customer service Handling phone enquiries and correspondence Processing payments and managing billing Maintaining patient records and documentation Coordinating with dental suppliers and laboratories What we're looking for Completed Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualifications Immunisation requirements- Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella), Pertussis (Whooping Cough) and Varicella (Chickenpox). Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the dental team Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage various tasks efficiently Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture Professional presentation and positive attitude What we offer At Leederville Dental, we are committed to providing a supportive and fulfilling work environment for our employees.
