Overview Join Clayton Utz as a Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer (2‑5 PQE) in Perth. You will work primarily with Partner Cameron Belyea on major ongoing restructures and strategic advisory roles for borrower/reference entities, financiers, noteholders, other credit originators or major stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Support major restructures and strategic advisory work in Western Australia. Prepare court documents, affidavits, briefs, observations and liquidation examinations. Assist in client liaison, drafting legal opinions and negotiating settlement terms. Work autonomously with a focus on detail and outstanding client service. Qualifications At least 2 years’ post‑admission experience in commercial litigation or restructuring & insolvency practice. Strong drafting experience with court documents, affidavits, briefs, observations and liquidation examinations. Excellent client‑service focus and work ethic. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to build client relationships and maintain a positive team environment. About the Team The Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group advises on all aspects of restructurings and insolvencies, including pre‑insolvency complex restructurings that preserve long‑term value for creditors and stakeholders.
