Australian Citizens With NV1 Clearance residing in Australia only respond Responsibilities Collaborate with the Software Asset Controller, who will facilitate the procurement of software and manage the contractual obligations in relation to software. The Software Maintenance Officer will maintain the in-service software, including the distribution of licenses and manage quantities and images which the software is installed using the COSPO support system. Manage configurations and releases which are derived from the Engineering Management System (EMS) through Modification Orders. Relate software maintenance to ISM controls, maintain in-service software licenses within ADF Defensive Cyber Systems, identify and capture risk and manage software and configuration defects; these are examples of frequent engagement and regular role requirements. Deliverables are typically bespoke and directly support ADF defensive cyber capability. Less frequent responsibilities include the development and control of software images for internal support systems. Qualifications Sound technical abilities and customer focus is required. The Software Maintenance Officer is required to be productive under limited supervision, provide timely feedback on work states and recommend technical options for meeting workplace objectives.
