Position Details Position: People & Capability Advisor Location: Charlestown, NSW Type: Permanent | Full‑Time What You’ll Be Doing Manage the employee lifecycle – from advertising and screening candidates to onboarding new hires. Maintain records, update databases, and ensure payroll accuracy to keep operations running smoothly. Support and advise leaders on recruitment, performance, training, wellbeing initiatives, and workplace relations. Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing guidance on policies, leave, and employment terms. Maintain high standards of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism when handling employee information. Stay up to date with HR best practices and contribute to continuous improvement across the business. About You Relevant tertiary qualification (or working toward one) or proven HR experience. At least 3 years of experience providing HR advice and support, including recruitment. Proactive mindset and enthusiasm for improving the employee experience. Strong understanding of Australian labour laws. Strong computer and organisational skills. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across all levels of the organisation.
