Senior Information Technology Recruiter - Australia Recruitment (TECHWIRE IT) We are hiring #DatabricksArchitect. Location: New Zealand AND Australia. Job Type: Contract. Responsibilities Design and implement scalable architecture solutions using #Databricks. Strong experience in #Databricks is required. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Lead architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to #juniorarchitects and developers. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectively. Develop and maintain architectural documentation and design specifications. Participate in strategic planning and program management activities. Mandatory Skills Expertise in #Databricks and its ecosystem. Strong understanding of data architecture and #dataengineering principles. Proven experience in designing and implementing large‑scale data solutions. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of wagering systems and related technologies. Experience with cloud platforms such as #AWS, #Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with strategic program management methodologies. Experience in Agile and DevOps practices. Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in architecture and design, with a focus on data solutions. Proven track record of successful project delivery in a leadership role. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
