The opportunity Reporting to the Director, People Operations and Analytics, and leading a team of Payroll and Compliance Officers, the Manager, Payroll and Compliance will: Oversee payroll operations to ensure people are paid accurately, on time and in line with all legislation and industrial requirements Strengthen governance, risk management and assurance frameworks, and maintain audit readiness across a complex workforce environment Build capability within the payroll team, lift service quality and translate complex agreements and legislation into practical, workable processes Drive continuous improvement, modernise systems, and lead digital and automation initiatives to enhance payroll delivery and controls About you You bring the technical depth and leadership capability to run a complex payroll function, lift standards and guide a team through meaningful improvement. The role suits someone confident working at scale, comfortable with detail, and able to influence senior stakeholders.
