St Patrick's Primary School is a vibrant and dynamic Catholic school, 20 minutes from Melbourne's northern suburbs. It sits alongside Assumption College, our sister Marist school, and we work very closely with their staff and students alike. We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced applicants within a primary school environment for a Student Wellbeing Leader that will support the school's wellbeing and pastoral care of the students at St Patrick’s to ensure the vision and ethos of the School are achieved. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the key selection criteria: Wellbeing is well known and understood within the school community; Support services are arranged for students when required; Child Safe standards are implemented and followed routinely; Consistent behaviour management processes are followed throughout the school; PBL, SEL and related programs are embedded into the curriculum. The school values staff who are comfortable in an environment of ongoing improvement, self-reflection, coaching/mentoring and peer interaction. We are looking for creative thinkers, who are life‑long learners and want to be part of a well‑supported team in a relatively new, beautiful built environment. St Patrick’s is a school committed to the safety, well‑being and protection of all children in our care. A sound and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current 'Child Safe' standards is required. A copy of the school’s Child Safe Policy and Child Safe Code of Conduct can be found on the school’s website. Applicants are asked to demonstrate: current VIT registration; confidence in using ICT; knowledge of Victorian Curriculum; accreditation to teach RE; a commitment to faith formation, both personally and professionally; an ability to lead staff.
