Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timesalary package up to $110k depending on experienceMy client, an industry leader and one of the most rapidly growing companies in their field, have an opportunity for an experienced QC/QA Officer to join their team located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure all processes in the Quality Management System are maintained as well as developing open lines of communication with company internal stake holders together with external clients.Main duties & responsibilities will include:Ensure that records are established and maintained to provide evidence that the QMS is being followed and that there is a system in place for the identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention time and disposition of such records.Review Job specific Date/Specifications and procure QC documentation prior to manufacturingWelding inspections to varying standards.Welding supervision.Dimensional and visual inspection of goods manufactured, both internally and externally.MDR compilation based on ISO9001 requirements and/or client specificationsPreparation of all required QA / QC manualsOther duties as requiredTo be successful in this role you will need:Ideally at least 5 years of welding experience as well as a 1796 Cert 10 Welding Inspection certificateAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsGood understanding of Australian Welding Standards and NDT’sGood understanding of blast/paint inspections to Australian StandardsGood understanding of various materials and relevant welding maps.Drivers Licence and the ability to work autonomously.To secure this much sought after position with this market leader, you will need to be highly motivated, have a strong desire to succeed and possess the ability to turn possibilities into reality.
