About the role : Our established and growing team is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Wall and Floor Tiler with experience to join our team with 2+ years of experience. The position will offer a competitive base salary of $80,000 plus superannuation The successful candidates should : Key Responsibilities Measure and cut tiles to fit spaces accurately Interpret plans, measures surfaces and plan layout of tiles Prepare wall and floor surfaces – filling holes, cracks, clean surfaces – remove tiles (if necessary), grout, adhesives Using tools to cut, install and lay tiles, using adhesives, cement Prepare and apply grout, clean and polish tiles Attach tiles to surfaces, using correct adhesive, making sure that patterned tiles match, Lay floors of cement, granolithic, terrazzo or similar composition Apply waterproofing in bathrooms and other wet areas and are up to code Adhere by safety regulations and industry standards Follow OH&S standards and site safety procedures Team player, good attention to detail & problem-solving skills.
