With over 80 campuses across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, we provide high‑quality early years education and care to more than 8,000 families. About the Role We are looking for a full‑time Diploma‑qualified Early Childhood Educator (Room Leader) to work with our friendly, supportive and fun teams on Sydney campuses. The role includes a competitive annual salary of $68,865‑$78,000 + Super, depending on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities Ensure child safety and welfare at all times by actively supervising and interacting with children. Provide high‑standard education, care and engagement for each child. Build warm, responsive relationships and support meaningful interactions. Facilitate a nurturing and loving environment across the campus. Comply with national regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework. Contribute to documentation for the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Deliver and maintain routines and programmes specific to the room, including small groups. Implement the Grow curriculum within the campus. Document children’s learning via the OAC Connect app and mentor other team members. Create stimulating learning environments in line with OAC Grow. Support and respect the professional development of other educators in collaboration with the Campus Director. Assist with daily room tasks such as activity preparation and meal times while maintaining child safety and wellbeing. Key Qualifications Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a registered training organisation (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification). Minimum of two years full‑time relevant work experience. Passion for early childhood education and development. Cooperative, supportive and creative team player. Current Working with Children Check (Employee). Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF. Experience with programming, planning and snapshot documentation. Ability to manage a team within the room and communicate with parents and families. Proficiency in establishing and maintaining room routines. Benefits Flexible work options.
