Assistant Branch Manager - Cook's Plumbing Supplies Established in Cook's Plumbing Supplies is a successful family run business and a leader in the industry. Cook's consists of twelve trade stores, a Home Builders Division, Commercial Projects Division and four retail Showrooms across NSW and QLD. We are looking for a hard‑working and friendly Assistant Branch Manager to join our Sumner Park team. This role will see you reporting directly to the Branch Manager, whilst also taking direction from the Operations Manager and other senior members of staff. You will have shared responsibility for maximizing profitability, customer service and developing a competent team. You will provide effective leadership to the team - in support of the Branch Manager - ensuring the branch is operating at optimum capacity, and delivering profitable results within a safe and efficient environment. To be considered, your experience will include staff management and a thorough understanding of the sales process. Good business acumen and sound computer skills are also required. Working closely with customers, you will have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to build solid, long‑term relationships whilst delivering exceptional customer service. Previous experience in plumbing and / or HVAC industries will be highly regarded, but not essential. Company utility provided.
