Their immediate need is within renewable energy deliver digital solutions for everyday Australians. The project scope is to extend a core digital platform to support consumer-facing web applications that simplifies access to public services through modern, user-centred design. Role As a Delivery Lead you will own the delivery of a smart digital energy platform within a regulated environment, sitting squarely at the intersection of delivery, engineering, and product. You’ll be in the weeds with your team, coordinating onshore and offshore members, and ensuring outcomes are delivered predictably, securely, and to a high standard. While energy domain knowledge is helpful, experience working in or alongside government or highly regulated environments is more important. Responsibilities: Owning end-to-end delivery across front-end and integration streams, from discovery through to release and support Planning and managing delivery using agile and lean practices, balancing speed, quality, and compliance Working closely with engineering leads, architects, and client-side Project Manager and Business Analysts to understand technical dependencies, risks, and trade-offs Coordinating offshore development teams, ensuring strong communication, clear priorities, and alignment with local stakeholders Alongside the BA, translating product and business requirements into clear delivery plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes Actively managing delivery risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating early and pragmatically Establishing and maintaining delivery cadence (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) Embedding continuous improvement across delivery processes, tooling, and ways of working Your Background You’re a pragmatic and structured Delivery Lead/Manager who can demonstrate being able to quickly understand complex domains and operate effectively in environments with strong process that are highly regulated. Required experience and skills: Proven experience as a Delivery Manager / Delivery Lead delivering complex digital or platform products Strong experience working with offshore or distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones A technical mindset, with the ability to engage in discussions around architecture, APIs, data flows, cloud platforms, and integration patterns Solid understanding of agile delivery, lean principles, and modern software development practices Experience delivering in regulated, enterprise, or mission-critical environments Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences Nice to have: Experience delivering projects within government, energy, utilities, or other highly regulated sectors Familiarity with smart energy, data platforms, or IoT-enabled systems Experience working with security, privacy, and compliance requirements in public sector or regulated environments What will set you apart: A blended mix of commercial enterprise and government environments Ability to understand new domains quickly without needing deep prior subject-matter expertise A structured, process-driven approach that works well alongside highly regulated, governance-heavy teams Confidence leading offshore teams while maintaining strong delivery discipline locally What’s next If this sounds like a great opportunity for you, please apply today.
