Site Civil Engineer

Substation Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy Infrastructure Location: Goulburn Region (Drive In Drive Out) We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with proven Transgrid project exposure and strong substation construction experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a site-based environment, communicates clearly and professionally, and can confidently manage civil works on a major energy project. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee civil construction works including earthworks, concrete foundations, drainage, access roads and structural installations. Ensure all works comply with Transgrid standards, engineering drawings and technical specifications. Coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and maintain project timelines. Conduct site inspections, quality checks and ensure documentation aligns with project requirements. Maintain high WHS standards and promote safe work practices across all civil activities. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain strong communication with the project team. About You Degree qualified Civil Engineer Experience working on Transgrid projects is essential. Strong background in substation construction or transmission/distribution projects. Excellent verbal and written english communication skills. Strong understanding of civil construction methods and applicable Australian Standards. Ability to work independently and effectively on a DIDO roster (2:1 or 3:1 swings).
