More information can be found on the website at ABOUT THE POSITION We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Terminal Coordinator to join our dynamic Adelaide Operations Team at Quantem’s site in Largs Bay. Reporting to the Adelaide Operations Manager, this role will assist the Operations Manager in the safe and efficient operation of the Pelican Point and Largs Bay Terminals. Ensure the Terminal Operations operate in full compliance with the company’s Safety Management System and meet the requirements of the company’s Strategic plan. THE POSITION ENTAILS THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure full compliance with all site safety requirements, including applicable legislation and company-wide initiatives across terminal operations. Carry out daily terminal activities in accordance with the company’s Safety Management System (SMS). Support Shift Operations and Maintenance Technicians with routine operational tasks related to shipping, maintenance, and truck loading. Provide flexible shift coverage at Pelican Point and Largs Bay Terminals as required during periods of leave. Manage financial responsibilities, including raising Purchase Orders for suppliers and contractors. Perform and supervise a range of operational duties in line with terminal procedures. Issue daily Work Control Permits in compliance with site requirements. Identify and resolve technical and operational issues as they arise, reporting all incidents and occurrences in accordance with Quantem’s Safety and Quality Management Systems. Maintain accurate records of operational and maintenance activities within the terminal. Enter data in standardised digital formats, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the level and responsibilities of the role, as directed by site supervisors or their delegates. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION, CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of operating and or maintaining of a bulk liquid storage of comparable scale and size. Working with and developing of documented Work Instructions and Procedures Working knowledge of Dangerous Goods Act and Occupational Health & Safety legislations Exposure to Fire Fighting and Emergency Management Sound interpersonal communication and English skills Excellent record for reliability, attendance and can do attitude Confined Space and Working at Heights trained Preferred experience in handling of bulk liquids including chemicals and hazardous products, including knowledge of pumping and piping systems WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
