About the Role We are seeking an experienced General Manager / Licensee to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our venue. This hands‑on leadership role oversees bar, bistro, kitchen teams, gaming outlets and accommodation services. You will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while managing budgets and team performance. Key Responsibilities Achieve weekly and quarterly budget targets across all departments. Maintain high audit scores through consistent standards and attention to detail. Uphold strict cash‑handling procedures and compliance with venue policies. Ensure opening/closing procedures and maintenance schedules are followed. Manage stock control, ordering and receiving for cost efficiency. Execute operational plans and seasonal strategies to enhance guest experience. Provide weekly management reports and monthly venue audit summaries to Head Office, ensuring transparency and compliance. Oversee and coordinate venue maintenance and repairs, guaranteeing a safe and well‑presented environment. Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to maintain quality standards, streamline operations and deliver an exceptional dining experience. Lead recruitment and onboarding to maintain staffing levels during peak periods. Organise and oversee weekly entertainment (music, trivia, activations) as directed. Maintain clear communication between bar, kitchen, floor staff and management. Collaborate with Marketing on promotions, messaging and community engagement. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements. Foster a positive, respectful and team‑oriented workplace culture. Qualifications Previous experience as a Licensee and/or relevant certification. Strong experience in a senior management role within hospitality. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Thorough understanding of food, beverage and gaming service standards. Knowledge of safety, security and compliance protocols. Financial management and cash‑handling proficiency. Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) certification. Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) certifications. Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
