Site Manager

Kerman Contracting is seeking experienced Site Managers to deliver Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) projects for a Tier 1 client . This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2 : 1 roster offering a fixed-term contract with strong potential for extension. As a Site Manager you will report directly to the Project Manager and play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of NPI projects. You will lead the on-site team work closely with the client and maintain a high standard of safety quality and performance across the project lifecycle. You will be personable and responsible for maintaining a positive team environment on site. Our Benefits on Offer As a Site Manager with Kerman you will have the following benefits : 18-24 months fixed term (potential to go longer) with leave accrual (Annual Leave and Sick Leave) 2 : 1 FIFO roster from Perth Attractive Base Hourly Rate Attractive completion bonus (on Base) paid out on project completion Salary sacrifice opportunities Strong and diverse project pipeline offering job security Supportive team structure consisting of Head Office staff as well as Deputy Managers Supervisors Administrators and Commissioning team Roles Duties and Responsibilities As a Site Manager some of your key responsibilities will include : Supporting the Project Manager with the day-to-day running of the project site ensuring works are completed safely on time according to specification and schedule and within budget. The position will also oversee and manage the on-site team including all on-site activities functions and disciplines Ensuring project completion following safety environmental time quality cost and HR measures Overseeing construction program including compiling subcontracts supply agreements and purchase orders Managing on-site construction works and coordinate with all site project staff and sub-contractors Ensuring project quality and safety standards meet OHS&E company requirements Performing short-term programming prepare method statement compilation and produce weekly and monthly project reports Providing risk assessments for construction activities and facilitate JHAs and Field Leaderships Providing leadership and direction on WHSE matters at the project pre-start toolbox and Client meetings Work closely with the Project Manager and WHSE Manager (HO) on project-related health and safety issues and provide them with statistical reports at agreed intervals About you To be successful for the Site Manager role you will have : Degree in Engineering Construction Management or equivalent industry 5 years experience in the construction industry in a similar role with a strong knowledge of full life cycle project deliverables Superior people management and interpersonal communications skills.
