About you You’ll provide high‑quality clinical care across the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynaecology, contribute to education and research, and play a key role in shaping women’s health services in Tasmania. This is a dynamic and collegial team with specialists spanning diverse clinical teaching and research interests. The department works collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient‑centred care and is committed to ongoing service development and innovation. It is also the principal teaching hospital for the University of Tasmania, offering opportunities to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and participate in research and audit programs. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver specialist obstetric and gynaecological care to women and their families. Supervise and mentor registrars, RMOs and medical students. Contribute to education through the University of Tasmania School of Medicine. Participate in departmental research, clinical audit and quality improvement. Support postgraduate training, teaching and professional development activities. Essential Requirements Specialist registration with AHPRA or eligibility via the RANZCOG Specialist Pathway. Fellowship of RANZCOG (FRANZCOG) or equivalent recognised qualification. Demonstrated experience across general obstetrics and gynaecology. Current Working with Children Registration (Tasmania).
