The Research Assistant will provide physiotherapy treatments associated with a trial as well as support the set-up, coordination, and delivery of physiotherapy research trials and projects. The role will involve assisting with ethics submissions, participant recruitment, data collection, trial administration, and dissemination of findings. Where you'll be working This Research Assistant position sits within the multidisciplinary John Walsh Centre for Rehabilitation Research, part of Kolling Institute, at the Royal North Shore Hospital campus. What You'll Be Doing The Research Assistant will provide physiotherapy treatments associated with a trial as well as support the set-up, coordination, and delivery of physiotherapy research trials and projects. The role will involve assisting with ethics submissions, participant recruitment, data collection, trial administration, and dissemination of findings. The Research Assistant will work closely with physiotherapists, researchers, and clinical staff to ensure studies are conducted according to protocols, ethical standards, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidate criteria Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy and current Physiotherapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated experience in health research, clinical trials or project coordination. High-level accuracy and attention to detail in data management. Demonstrated computer literacy with competence in using research and data management software (e.g., REDCap, SPSS, STATA, Excel). Need more information?
