Assistant Sales Manager

Operating in the Construction and Transportation industries, we have been specialising in the supply, manufacturing, servicing and installation of fire protection equipment to the fire industry for over 50 years. About the role This is a full-time role with a clear development pathway into Senior Management and future leadership of the Plumbing Division. You will gain exposure across sales, operations, compliance, leadership and commercial business with hands‑on involvement and mentoring. Responsibilities Drive sales through marketing, business relationships and understanding the commercial plumbing/construction lifecycle Management of new and existing clients Leading the sales workflow – Tendering/Quotation's, processing orders, responding to enquiries Working closely with the Managing Director, National Sales and National Operations Managers Supporting and learning the fire suppression systems (Transport) side of the business Providing administrative and logistical support to the extinguisher refurbishment program Assisting with leadership and support of team members Supporting quality control processes and reporting on any issues Contributing to continuous improvement across sales and operational processes Benefits and perks Genuine opportunity to grow into a Senior Management role to make your own Full training and ongoing support provided Exposure to multiple areas of the fire protection and business industries Full-time position with salary benefits Flexible, team‑based and supportive work environment Long‑term career opportunity in a stable, Australian‑owned family business Skills and experience The ideal candidate will be driven by sales and is looking to step into Senior Management; attitude, potential and capability are more important than experience.
