Compensation: Guaranteed amount of $150 per hour plus GST for the first 12 weeks or 70% of receipts (whichever is the greater). Practice Information: Modern architect-designed Medical Centre, which also includes Chinchilla Pharmacy, Physio, and SNP pathology. The Practice is a DPA and AON for OTD. The patient base is mixed, but primarily private fees and demographics include retirees as well as young families. The practice offers a combination of billing and a wide range of services at the facility including computerised radiography. They have visiting specialists and on-site pathology. The practice has nine consulting rooms and a large nursing area which helps deal with any emergencies. The practice is computerised using Best Practice software. The team is made up of a Practice Manager, Operation Manager, three receptionists and three Registered Nurses who share 2 full-time positions. The practice is accredited through AGPAL -RACGP 5th Standards. The doctors are well supported with modern and well-maintained medical equipment. Most importantly, they have a vibrant team of staff members who provide friendly, efficient and compassionate care towards all of their patients with a commitment to ongoing education and training. Position Description: Seeking General Practitioners who value small-town life but with the prospect of being very busy. They have a waiting list of patients for at least two GP’s so you will not have to build your practice, in fact exactly the opposite. The owners and staff are very supportive and as a general practitioner, you would be welcomed into this small community where Chinchilla values country life and living. Qualifications & Experience: AHPRA registration. Minimum of two years medical work experience as a General Practitioner. Open to Level 2 & Level 3 supervision (unable to offer Level 1 supervision).
