The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Group Finance team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager – Financial Reporting, this role will play a pivotal part in delivering group reporting, encompassing statutory, regulatory and sustainability reporting. You will support the preparation and review of periodic consolidated financial reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards, all while maintaining a strong risk mindset and adherence to the internal control environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidated financial reports. Ensure compliance with AIFRS, IFRS and internal reporting policies. Support the year‑end and half‑year statutory reporting process, including liaising with external auditors. Support the preparation of sustainability and ESG reporting disclosures. Assist in the preparation of board and management reporting packs. \Perform variance analysis and provide insights into group financial performance. Maintain and improve reporting systems, processes, and internal controls. Collaborate with divisional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data. Perform legal entity control and oversight of designated holding companies, including bank reconciliations and supporting month‑end close. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects within group reporting. Other duties as instructed by the manager and/or team executive. About You The successful applicant will possess or be working towards a CA/CPA qualification as well as 2‑5 years’ accounting experience, ideally in a Big 4 audit or financial services firm.
