The Role Are you passionate about technology, design, and bringing complex buildings to life? Join our Project team as a Trainee Draftsperson and start your journey into the world of digital engineering and 3D modelling for cutting‑edge construction projects. We’ll coach and mentor you to master the latest innovative software and construction technologies, helping you become highly skilled in creating mechanical services duct and pipe shop drawings that shape the buildings of tomorrow. You’ll work on a diverse range of projects — from modern apartment towers and high‑tech data centres to medical facilities, office buildings, and shopping centres — each offering unique challenges and opportunities to grow. Day to day tasks would involve: Collaborate with high‑performing drafting teams using advanced 3D modelling tools. Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver high‑quality outcomes. Learn and apply cutting‑edge digital design and drafting methods. Prepare detailed project documentation that drives real‑world construction. Develop a deep understanding of company and industry standards and workflows. Contribute your ideas and enthusiasm to our positive, tech‑forward team culture. To be successful for this role you’ll need: Secondary year 12 certificate, or equivalent. Candidates holding an Advanced Diploma in Building Design or Engineering Technology (Mechanical) will be highly regarded. A genuine interest in technology and digital design. A keen eye for detail and strong spatial awareness. A collaborative mindset and a can‑do attitude. A drive to build a long‑term technical career in the construction technology space.
