(Organisation site )Strategic Transformation; Transformation Office; Organisational Capability; BrisbaneThe Director, Strategic Transformation is accountable for the establishment and performance of the Strategic Transformation Group, as well as providing strategic and operational support to the Assistant Commissioner on all related matters, including Business Architecture, Consulting, Investments, Resourcing and Vendor Planning/Management.Work with the Assistant Commissioner, Transformation Office and the broader QCS reform agenda to ensure the Transformation Office is connected to all ideation, and delivery of, the reform agenda.Lead engagement with the organisation in the ideation, design and development of key organisational projects and roadmap to deliver the QCS reform agendaCollaborate with Directors across the Transformation Office to design and monitor the strategic direction of the reform agenda.Lead and develop the Business Architecture capability within the Transformation Office.Build the understanding across QCS of the investment in the reform agenda, articulate the change value to the organisation and support the development of required business cases.Manage the strategic view of the resource requirements and vendor relationships required to deliver prioritised change across the portfolio, coordinate procurement, contract management and business as usual activities.Provide expert, evidence-based and trusted advice to the Assistant Commissioner and other Executives to support and inform strategic decision making as it relates to the Strategic Transformation Group.Develop strategic relationships and engage with key stakeholders, representing QCS in a range of forums/committees to advance the interests of QCS.Coordinate and quality assure Ministerial and executive correspondences, briefing materials and reports for accuracy, relevance, appropriateness, and alignment with the strategic objectives, policies and frameworks of the QCS reform agenda, the Department, and the Government.Facilitate effective collection and analysis of information in order to build relationships across QCS to support capability development and engagement with professional bodies.Lead and direct the effective use and management of the Strategic Transformation Group by managing human and financial resources to deliver services in an efficient and commercially sustainable manner.Foster a workplace that values collaboration, evidence-based decision making, innovation, and performance orientation, where employees are passionate about their work and take personal accountability for their actions.Take an active role in communicating and translating the QCS Reform agenda for key stakeholders, in collaboration with colleagues across the Transformation Office.Undertake any other duties as assigned.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/570093/24Further information
