Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HVAC & Refrigeration Technician based in Melbourne. As an HVAC&R Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems for our commercial clients. Your expertise will ensure that HVAC systems operate efficiently, meet performance standards, and comply with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities Travel between various job sites daily, including Retail and Petroleum locations. Carry out breakdowns, servicing, preventative maintenance and installation on HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and project managers to complete HVAC projects efficiently and effectively. Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations and safety standards. Work collaboratively with team members and maintain clear communication with clients to deliver exceptional customer service. Keep accurate and detailed records of work performed, including reports and service documentation. Requirements Formal qualifications in HVAC or refrigeration, such as a Certificate III or IV in Airconditioning & Refrigeration. Valid driver’s license. Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably with a background in commercial HVAC systems. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A national police check and medical assessment will be part of the recruitment process.
