Our team advises on the leading mining, oil & gas and energy transactions in Australia, including for Rio Tinto, CITIC, ExxonMobil and Woodside. We routinely advise on high profile national and cross-border transactions and projects involving assets across Australia, Asia and Papua New Guinea.As part of our team you will play an important role delivering client work on market-leading projects and transactions and working with us to identify and win new work opportunities. The key features of this role are:* the opportunity to super-charge your professional development by working with market-leading energy and resources practitioners;* the hands-on working style of the partners in this team;* the challenging work you will experience;* the variety of transactions and projects on which you can expect to get involved;* the impressive clients and people with whom you will work with; and* the cohesive and inclusive approach of the team you will join.Your role will typically include advising on:* acquisitions and divestments in the mining and oil & gas sectors;* project development and expansions in the mining, oil & gas and energy sectors, including renewables transactions;* regulatory matters involving mining and oil & gas operations and the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity and gas;* joint ventures, JOAs, shareholders agreements and partnership structures;* Minerals and gas sales and transportation agreements, including LNG sales agreements and trading; and* power purchase agreements.This is a (permanent, full-time) opportunity. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.**About you**You will have:* Demonstrated experience in mining, oil & gas, or renewables, ideally at a top tier firm, international firm or boutique firm.
