Business Director Perioperative Services Adventist HealthCare Limited (Aus) invites applications for the Business Director Perioperative Services role, part of our nursing leadership team, overseeing financial, operational and administrative management of the perioperative service. The role is based at Sydney Adventist Hospital, the largest private hospital in NSW with 23 operating theatres. Responsibilities Lead perioperative growth and strategy as part of the nursing leadership team. Drive service excellence, supporting strategic objectives and spearheading initiatives that improve patient experience and service growth. Identify opportunities for expansion, develop sustainable workforce plans and oversee budgets. Partner with clinical and executive teams to implement business transformation projects. Lead business development, building referral pathways, increasing patient volumes and contributing to innovative models of care. Qualifications Proven leadership experience within a perioperative environment, including high-level financial, operational and administrative oversight. Strong expertise in project and change management, with a track record of delivering business transformation initiatives and service improvements. Commercial acumen, including business development, growth planning and financial management (budgeting, cost analysis). Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with a focus on building strong relationships across clinical, executive and external partners. In‑depth understanding of NSQHS Standards, clinical governance frameworks and quality improvement initiatives relevant to perioperative services. Relevant qualifications, including a postgraduate degree in health management, leadership or a related field (project/change management training desirable).
