Music Teacher

Job Summary The College is seeking dedicated, innovative, relational instrumental instructors to teach in the instrumental areas of Strings and/or Piano. Commence: January 2026. Tenure: Part-Time, with potential for permanency. Role An Instrumental Music Teacher at the College seeks to inspire, excite, guide, and motivate students through the study, practice and performance of music in a social setting. The Music Teacher is directly accountable to the Instrumental Music Coordinator and Head of School. Qualifications Candidates must hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or QCT Teacher registration. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of 1-2 years of strings teaching experience. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in teaching all string types including orchestral strings. The ability to teach and perform in both areas is an advantage. Applicants who demonstrate an active Biblical faith that aligns with the College's Statement of Faith, currently being expressed in a Christian Church, are invited to apply. Applicants must also demonstrate conduct that aligns with the College's religious beliefs, as well as demonstrate an ability to inspire students to embrace high standards of Christian character, scholarship and diligence.
