Job Description Roster: 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Off - 10 hour shifts. At Newhaul, we take great pride in maintaining our truck fleet to the highest standards, ensuring both reliability and a professional appearance. A clean, well-kept fleet reflects our commitment to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Heavy Vehicle Truck Washer plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational standards of the fleet of heavy vehicles. Working on a rotating roster, you will ensure trucks are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and ready for operation, contributing to safety, efficiency, and the overall presentation of the fleet. The primary equipment you will be washing will be 60-meter road train combinations. Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform exterior washing, interior cleaning, and undercarriage rinsing of heavy vehicles using high-pressure equipment and cleaning agents Ensure proper handling of equipment and cleaning solutions to prevent damage to vehicles and maintain a safe working environment Comply with workplace health and safety regulations at all times Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on washing equipment to ensure proper functionality Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the timely and efficient cleaning of the fleet Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential) Familiarity with high-pressure washers and other cleaning equipment A great attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and operate cleaning equipment A valid driver’s license (preferred) Knowledge of safety protocols and handling cleaning chemicals Additional Information What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate with applicable shift penalties for night work Overtime opportunities (when required) Super paid on all hours worked Performance based bonus Depot Wellness Hub – massage chairs, Infrared sauna, hyperbaric chamber, Carol bike, yoga room with more to come To Apply Newhaul believes in the power of a diverse work environment.
