Job Description This position is responsible for installation and maintenance of copper and optical fibre communications services for the company’s customers. The candidate must be capable of working on large projects as part of a team, attending service breakdowns, and be able to work independently. Aims Quick, efficient performance of jobs Ensure customer satisfaction Help team members and work effectively within the division Maintain a high level of safety Duties / Responsibilities Installation of optical fibre and copper structured cabling Termination of optical fibre and copper structured cabling Testing and commissioning of optical fibre and copper cabling and communications equipment Installation of communications cabinets and termination of cabling Conduct preventative, corrective and break/fix maintenance activities for company customers Complete works efficiently and of a high quality to ensure customer deadlines and expectations are met Communicate effectively with other RIC staff and contractors Ability to complete tasks with little/no supervision Establish and maintain excellent relationships with fellow workers and customers Ensure WHS compliance according to RIC policies and SWMS Requirements Open Cablers Licence Driver licence WHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card) Preferred Background in communication cabling installation in commercial/industrial projects How to Apply If you would like to apply for the role, please email your resume to .
